Roasted Figs with Goat Cheese and Serrano Ham

Ingredients
Olive oil
16 small cubes of goat cheese
8 ripe black mission figs, halved
16 strips of Serrano or prosciutto ham
Honey

You will also need:
Baking pan
Brush
Toothpicks

Instructions
Preheat oven to 425oF.

Brush the baking pan with olive oil and set aside.

Place one cube of goat cheese solidly into the center of each of the fig halves. Wrap each fig with Serrano ham and secure the ham with a toothpick. Brush each one with honey. Place the figs into the prepared baking dish.

Bake for about 5-7 minutes until heated throughout.

Serve immediately.

Serves 8 people.
